EXPLORING THE SPACE BETWEEN NATURE AND TECHNOLOGY THROUGH BIOCLIMATIC AND IMMERSIVE DESIGN
Section A
Floor plan
ROTOWN
ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDSThe pop concert hall Rotown is extended with a new bar area in an adjoining building.
Due to the diverse spaces & materials in use in the existing concert hall and restaurant area, the design focuses on creating a unique character for the bar by joining all the functions of the bar, such as the lounge, bathrooms etc. into one space made of one material.
