RTV Rijnmond will establish it’s new office in the Lloyd district of Rotterdam. Divided over three levels, the entrance area with reception, the seating area, the kitchen with canteen and the office area, are all layed out for RTV Rijnmond. These areas all have a uniform floor finish and are, in this way, associated and recognizable.
By directing the transparency, sound absorption and sound isolation in walls and furniture, interaction and encounter is stimulated and acoustics and privacy moderated.
Rtv Rijnmond
The office concept for the third floor responds to the organisation of the office and the building in very specific way. Through intensive dialogue with the client, the qualities for the divergent workplaces became apparent. The result is a space where the qualities of an open office and the cell office are combined. By directing the transparency, sound absorption and sound isolation in walls and furniture, interaction and encounter is stimulated and acoustics and privacy moderated.
